Job summary

Ace Retail Group is seeking an Inventory Coordinator to safeguard store inventory integrity and accuracy. The role focuses on receiving POs, reconciling discrepancies, and coordinating with freight and store teams to ensure items are in the right place at the right time.

This part-time position typically averages 20–30 hours per week, with a strong emphasis on teamwork, attention to detail, and applying core values of service and integrity while supporting multiple store locations.

Qualifications

• Must work independently and in a team to complete multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-starter with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to research and determine root causes of inventory discrepancies.
• Retail store experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure POs are properly received from Ace and non-Ace vendors.
• Report inventory discrepancies such as over/short and damages from orders received.
• Coordinate with the freight captain to ensure proper receiving and replenishment.
• Investigate outs by scanning locations and determining causes to correct errors.
• Utilize Mango reports and daily cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Follow defective merchandise procedures to obtain credits.
• Maintain on-hand integrity by researching discrepancies and adjusting counts as needed.
• Oversee location codes, inventory levels, and adjustments across store operations.
• Coordinate store preparations for periodic full-store inventories.
• Participate in Inventory Coordinator training and share knowledge with staff.
• Collaborate with Store Support Center to ensure proper controls are in place.
