Job summary

Ace Retail Group is seeking an Inventory Coordinator to maintain store inventory integrity and provide excellent customer service. The role requires 20-30 hours per week across our neighborhood stores and involves working with Ace and external vendors to ensure accurate stock levels.

The position emphasizes strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and teamwork within a fast-paced retail environment. Prior retail experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently or on a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-starter with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to research and identify root causes of inventory discrepancies.
• Retail store experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure POs are properly received from Ace and non-Ace vendors.
• Report inventory discrepancies such as over/short and damages from orders received.
• Coordinate receiving and replenishment with freight captain.
• Research discrepancies by scanning locations and correcting errors.
• Maintain inventory accuracy using Mango reports and daily cycle counts.
• Assist in periodic full store inventories.
• Train fellow staff on inventory procedures.
