Job summary

Lids is seeking an Inventory Compliance Specialist to safeguard the accuracy and integrity of inventory records across the store network and distribution centers. You will review transactions, analyze discrepancies, and ensure compliance with inventory control procedures.

The role works cross-functionally with supply chain, merchandising, store operations, and accounting to investigate issues, maintain system synchronization, and help implement process improvements that strengthen controls.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant work experience or related education preferred.
• Ability to operate a computer and relevant software applications.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to analyze discrepancies and solve problems effectively.
• Ability to maintain consistent attendance and performance standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and compliant inventory records.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies across departments.
• Synchronize warehouse management with inventory systems.
• Monitor adjustments and identify control gaps.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable to resolve discrepancies.
• Analyze root causes of variances and propose corrective actions.
• Document inventory compliance activities.
• Communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to inventory policies and internal controls.
• Support special projects as assigned.
