Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking an Inventory Clerk to maintain accurate inventory levels across distribution centers. You will execute daily cycle counts, reconcile records with physical counts, and support recalls and holds. The role may require quality/regulatory tasks and adherence to ISO standards to keep facilities inspection-ready.

This position emphasizes accuracy, data reporting, and collaboration with leadership to ensure on-time shipping and receiving aligned with customer needs.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required; associate degree or two years of equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a warehouse or distribution environment; site may require industry-specific experience (e.g., food grade).
• Familiar with ISO requirements preferred.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Attention to detail.
• Pass Background and Drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Maintain perpetual inventory of materials and products and generate applicable inventory reports.
• Perform daily cycle count activities and inventory audits; track damaged product and report to leadership.
• Verify clerical records against physical counts; investigate and report discrepancies.
• Coordinate product recalls, holds/releases, recalls, and returns as needed.
• Monitor pest control program if required at site.
• If responsible for quality functions: ensure facility is inspection ready (SQFI, FDA or customer needs).
• Facilitate quality/regulatory training and coordinate the site quality management program.
• Maintain the site's quality management portal and draft/revise site SOPs as needed.
