DOCUmation is seeking an Inventory Handler in San Antonio, TX. The role supports the Logistics department and reports to the Warehouse Manager. Key duties include stocking, organizing, picking/packing, and shipping parts while maintaining accurate bin locations and system counts.

Must have 1–2 years in inventory control and strong communication skills. Requires a High School Diploma or GED and the ability to lift 50 lbs.

Position: Inventory Handler

Location: San Antonio, TX

Description

The qualified applicant will possess the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff, as needed. This position will be responsible for completing daily tasks including but not limited to cleaning workstations, organizing supplies, restocking shelves, and ordering parts. The Inventory Handler will stock parts in proper bin locations and maintain high organizational standards and bin accuracy relative to system counts; ensure all parts, supplies and equipment are collected and disposed of properly after use and assist with set-up work when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and ship parts pertaining to open service calls incomplete for a part(s), truck inventory restocks, and customer supply orders.
• Validate outgoing inventory for shipping accuracy and consistency.
• Validate incoming inventory against packing list for receiving accuracy and consistency.
• Load and unload delivery trucks as it pertains to equipment, parts, supplies, and other inventory related items.
• Box and un-box equipment, parts, supplies, and related equipment as it pertains to set-ups and staging.
• Responsible for trash removal as it pertains to shipping and packing materials.
• Responsible for labeling parts and supplies relative to stocking locations.
• Stock parts in proper bin locations and maintain high organizational standards and bin accuracy relative to system counts.
• Identify and resolve problems related to inventory variances, stockroom operations and vendor orders.
• Coordinate and perform physical inventories of central warehouse location cyclical as directed by Part Supervisor
• Reconcile stockroom inventory against computer generated reports.
• Helps in administering warranty relative to OEM/Vendor core-credits, PC board repairs and board-bank.
• Keep inventory stock/shelves in proper sequence, clean, accurate and organized.
• Keep parts warehouse safe and orderly.
• Deliver internal supplies to related areas within DOCUmation.
• Perform other activities that support DOCUmation and our service organization.

Experience & Required Skills

• 1-2 yrs.+ inventory control/warehouse experience
• Technical knowledge/skills, attentive to detail, strong customer service & communication skills

Education & Certification

• High School Diploma or GED

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. Pull, lift, reach and transport equipment parts and boxes.
