Job summary

Blue Ocean Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Group Lead for Inventory at our Delaware location. You will lead the inventory team, ensure accurate data, label and store items, and coordinate with other departments to maintain efficient warehouse operations.

The role requires 1–2 years in a warehouse setting, strong organization, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Full-time with daytime hours and safety training responsibilities are included.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of warehouse experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow policies and procedures.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment is a plus.
• Ability to coordinate with upstream and downstream workflow for accurate inventory management.
• Able to move and lift up to 50 lbs independently and with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Inventory Team and ensure accurate, timely data; label and store items with necessary info.
• Monitor and record daily inventory levels; conduct regular audits for accuracy.
• Receive and process items; verify quantities and quality in receiving.
• Oversee storage space to maximize efficiency and accessibility.
• Train/new employees on inventory procedures and safety; provide coaching as needed.
• Coordinate with upstream/downstream teams for smooth workflow and problem resolution.
• Inspect and maintain inventory equipment; report malfunctions and request repairs.
• Ensure safety and compliance in the inventory area and empower the team.
