Border States in Nashville, TN is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support warehouse operations, receive freight, check for damages, stock locations and fill orders for delivery to customers.

Preferred 2 years of warehouse experience, forklift knowledge, SAP is a plus, and strong safety, organization and customer service skills are important. This employee-owned company offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• 2 years of work experience preferred.
• Prior warehouse distribution experience including forklift operation is preferred.
• SAP software knowledge is a plus.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• If driving, meet age and license requirements as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Receives incoming freight and checks material for damages or shortages.
• Distributes material to the proper stock locations.
• Fills special orders and/or backorders as material is received.
• Follows up with departments, carriers, and vendors on discrepancies.
• Maintains inventory stock locations and keeps shelves neat and orderly.
• Fills orders for delivery to customers.
