Job summary

Visual Comfort & Co. is seeking a Material Handler II to perform advanced material handling, shipping, receiving, picking, packing, and cycle counting with precision.

You will operate pallet jacks, use handheld scanners, and stock products in their primary locations while maintaining safety and inventory accuracy. The role requires 6 months to 1 year in a warehouse setting, English proficiency, and the ability to work a schedule that includes weekends and early or late shifts.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of full-time warehouse experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must read, write and speak English.
• Proficiency with warehouse systems and software.
• Experience in interior design or luxury lighting is a plus.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Available to work weekends and early mornings or late shifts.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Operate pallet jack.
• Receive product deliveries.
• Unload shipping containers.
• Scan and stock items accurately in its primary location.
• Use handheld scanner for data entry.
• Maintain picking accuracy and meet standard rate.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Label and tag boxes to prepare shipments.
• Adhere to safety and OSHA guidelines.
