Job summary

Johnstone Supply Albuquerque Group is seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse/Delivery Associate. The role involves picking orders with barcoded inventory, processing shipments, and inspecting freight for damages.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and be able to pass a drug screen and background check. Forklift experience and up to 75 pounds lifting capacity are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Delivery driving experience a PLUS
• One year warehouse experience, forklift experience preferred
• Adequate physical strength and stamina to repeatedly lift, carry, move, and set down, up to 75 pounds.
• Experience using a barcode-driven inventory management system - RF Scanner

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick products for the counter, phone, and online sales orders using a barcoded inventory system
• Process shipments to be sent to customers and inspect incoming freight for damages
• Perform periodic cycle counting of inventory to ensure accuracy
• Ability to safely load delivery and transfer trucks using a forklift, pallet jack, or hand truck
