Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a detail-oriented inventory and store operations associate in a Walgreens store.

The role covers both front-end and pharmacy inventory, pricing, and security procedures, with responsibility for receiving, counting, and returns, and for ensuring planograms and stock accuracy. The position includes customer service duties, opening/closing responsibilities in designated stores, and collaboration with the pharmacist-in-charge to post pharmacy shipments and recalls as needed.

Qualifications

• Fluent reading, writing and speaking English (except Puerto Rico).
• Six months Walgreens experience or one year retail experience required.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in identifying operational issues and implementing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Execute, monitor, and train inventory best practices and SOPs for store and pharmacy.
• Support inventory management: receiving, counting, ordering, returns.
• Validate planograms and ensure on-hand balances and pricing accuracy.
• Review reports and applications affecting inventory and pricing accuracy.
• Open/close store in absence of management in designated stores when required.
• Engage customers and resolve issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Lead warehouse/vendor inventory processes and 1-box receiving as applicable.
• Post and verify pharmacy shipments and recalls under pharmacist supervision.
• Complete pricing activities and ensure correct signage and regulatory pricing tasks.
• Assist with front-end and pharmacy ordering, including stock and vendor returns.
