Job summary

Automation Personnel Services in Houston is seeking an experienced Inventory / Forklift Operator to support procurement, warehouse and operations. You will receive shipments, maintain inventory accuracy, operate reach and sit-down forklifts, and record transactions in SAP or similar ERP.

The role requires at least 2 years forklift and inventory control experience, bilingual preferred, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Weekly pay and a benefits package are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of forklift experience, including reach truck and sit-down forklift operation.
• Minimum 2 years of inventory control or warehouse experience.
• Experience using SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, JD Edwards, or another ERP system.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing/warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Receive and unload incoming shipments from vendors and carriers.
• Verify quantities, inspect materials for damage, and compare shipments to purchase orders and packing slips.
• Coordinate closely with the Procurement Team to ensure accurate receiving and inventory transactions.
• Enter receiving, inventory adjustments, transfers, and material movements into SAP or other ERP systems.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Organize and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
• Stage materials for production and internal departments.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and assist with inventory reconciliation.
• Ensure warehouse cleanliness, organization, and compliance with safety standards.

Inventory / Forklift Operator (Reach & Sit-Down)

Automation Personnel Services is seeking an experienced Inventory / Forklift Operator to support our Procurement, Warehouse, and Operations teams. This position is responsible for receiving incoming shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, operating reach and sit-down forklifts, performing material movements, and ensuring timely inventory transactions within SAP or a similar ERP system.

Schedule and Hours

Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Sunday: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Required)

Occasional Saturday work as needed

Overtime may be required based on business demands

• Bilingual (preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of forklift experience, including reach truck and sit-down forklift operation. (preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of inventory control or warehouse experience.
• Experience using SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, JD Edwards, or another ERP system.
• Ability to accurately receive, count, and track inventory.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing/warehouse environment.
