Job summary

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Cherry Picker / Reach Truck Operator to safely operate powered industrial equipment in the Houston warehouse and ensure accurate inventory and timely order fulfillment.

Responsibilities include picking, staging, loading/unloading, using RF scanners, and maintaining a clean, safe work area while following OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience operating reach trucks and cherry pickers in a warehouse.
• Ability to pass a forklift equipment evaluation.
• Comfortable using RF scanners and warehouse systems.

Cherry Picker / Reach Truck Operator

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a professional, customer-focused Cherry Picker / Reach Truck Operator to join our team. The Reach Truck / Cherry Picker Operator is responsible for safely operating powered industrial equipment to move, locate, stack, and stage materials within the warehouse. This role plays a key part in maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring customer orders are fulfilled efficiently and on time.

Schedule and Hours
Monday–Friday: 05:00 AM – 02:30PM (OT available)
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Night:
Monday-Friday: 02:30PM – 01:00AM (OT available)
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Cherry Picker / Reach Truck Operator Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate reach trucks, cherry pickers, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.

Cherry Picker / Reach Truck Operator Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous experience operating a Reach Truck and/or Cherry Picker required.
• Ability to pass a forklift equipment evaluation.
• Experience using RF scanners preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Comfortable working at heights.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
