Job summary

Cavender’s is seeking a Stocker in Weslaco, TX to support store operations by accurately stocking merchandise on the sales floor and backroom, maintaining organized inventory, and ensuring a clean, welcoming shopping environment.

You will help prepare merchandise for sale, assist customers, follow store standards, and collaborate with the team to enable smooth product flow and an exceptional guest experience. This role requires flexibility, reliability, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Ability to accurately stock and organize merchandise in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Read and understand English.
• Able to work flexible evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Stock merchandise to floor and backroom following standards.
• Inspect merchandise for tagging, quality, and placement before stocking.
• Maintain clean, organized backstock and sales floor.
• Assist with processing transfers, special orders, and returns.
• Report safety concerns to store management promptly.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise or directing them to staff.
