Job summary

Nordstrom, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Finance FP&A Analyst to consolidate and report operational results, develop forecasts, and support annual budgets within the finance organization.

The role emphasizes collaboration with business partners to identify inventory savings opportunities and drive data-driven decision making. The position is hybrid in Seattle, requiring in-office presence 4 days per week at the downtown Seattle location.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience in FP&A or finance.
• BA/BS Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Proven experience in analysis, modeling, and reporting financial performance.
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills; Hyperion-Essbase is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead processes for consolidating month-end Inventory results and ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial reporting.
• Develop annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to plan, communicate, and analyze Inventory performance.
• Create new monthly and weekly reports and streamline existing reports for insights into past performance and trends.
• Act as a key Inventory finance contact to the business and communicate with non-financial leaders.
• Analyze data to drive actionable outcomes.
• Perform ad hoc analyses and special projects as needed.
• Drive process improvements and reporting simplification.
