Job summary

Nordstrom is seeking a Finance Manager to own financial support for brand partnerships strategy and operations within the Nordstrom Merchandising Group Finance team. You will build financial models, develop insightful reporting, and maintain partner relationships.

Hybrid role in Seattle, WA, in-office four days a week. The role requires 5+ years in finance, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and experience with Tableau and SQL is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of finance experience with progression.
• Experience in analysis, modeling, and reporting financial performance.
• Ability to build strong relationships with peers, partners, and leaders.
• Excellent MS Excel and PowerPoint; Tableau and SQL a plus.
• Strong verbal and written storytelling and communication.
• Ability to manage priorities and timelines.
• Attention to detail and data integrity.
• Retail industry experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business leaders to develop objectives and financial modeling for brand negotiations.
• Identify metrics and build reports to measure performance against defined objectives.
• Partner with senior leaders to anticipate challenges and build evolving financial models.
• Contribute to the development and execution of strategic merchandising and financial plans.
• Perform ad hoc analyses and present findings to support executive decisions.
• Ensure successful completion of assignments and support team goals.
