Job summary

Markey’s, a leading provider of creative audio-visual services, seeks a Full-Time Inventory Control Technician at JW Marriott Austin. You will support operations by organizing inventory, coordinating with drivers, and maintaining accurate records for rental equipment.

The role offers OT eligibility and varying shifts based on business needs. Ideal candidates communicate well, manage multiple tasks, and are comfortable with event tech and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Prior working knowledge of the R2 computer system preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and speaking with management and peers.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
• Familiarity with a wide range of event technology equipment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
• Desire to improve processes and maintain professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, organize, and track JW Marriott Austin inventory for accuracy.
• Prepare and roll out new inventory and order cases for new equipment.
• Assist with equipment maintenance, repair, and retirement.
• Ensure shipping/receiving paperwork is complete and accurate.
• Coordinate delivery and pickup times with drivers.
• Oversee on-site equipment storage areas.
• Maintain on-site inventory of consumables and event supplies.
• Coordinate and schedule preventative maintenance.
• Aid order writers to reserve and track equipment.
• Fulfill other duties to support Markey’s events.
