Job summary

Markey's, a multi-state leading provider of creative audio-visual services, is seeking a Full-Time Hotel Technician to join our team in Austin, TX at the JW Marriott. The Hotel Technician will set up and operate high-end AV equipment for live, virtual and hybrid events, while collaborating with clients and hotel staff.

This client-facing role involves troubleshooting issues, tearing down gear after events, occasional evening and weekend work, and delivering top-notch service in a fast-paced

Qualifications

Experience operating a variety of audio-visual equipment for live events.
Strong customer service and professional appearance.
Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

Work closely with clients and Operations to ensure successful events.
Set-up, tear-down, and loading/unloading of equipment.
Operate audio, visual, and lighting gear for live and virtual events.
Provide excellent customer service to hotel staff and clients.
Ensure equipment is safe, functional, and user-friendly for clients.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and resolve them promptly.
Fulfill additional duties to ensure Markey's events succeed.
