Job summary

The GIANT Company in West Virginia is seeking a Store Associate to help manage inventory, stock shelves, and maintain displays. You will load pallets, rotate stock, and ensure products are correctly tagged and organized for customers.

Responsibilities include daily inventory checks, removing out-of-date items, and keeping work areas sanitized and safe. Strong reliability, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and compliance with safety rules are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to read, write, communicate, and understand to complete job duties and comply with policies.
• Must complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 60 days.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as the physical base scores for this position.
• Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job.
• Must be able to perform all job functions safely.
• Must meet the company performance standards including regular attendance.
• Must agree to wear the proper assigned clothes and shoes approved for this job.
• Must have and maintain any required licenses, certificates, or permits for the position.

Responsibilities

• Promptly, at the start of the shift, review the work schedule, check equipment and supplies, comply with PPE and food safety requirements, and prepare for duties.
• Follow directions and expectations of the department leadership.
• Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, tools, equipment, display cases, floors, and counters.
