Job summary

The GIANT Company is seeking a store associate to manage inventory daily, remove out-of-date items, load pallets into the cooler, stock and restock items, and maintain attractive displays. This role supports a fast-paced grocery environment across Pennsylvania locations.

You will follow leadership directions, ensure cleanliness and sanitation, and comply with PPE and food-safety rules. A 60-day probation is required, with emphasis on reliability, attendance, and safety.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to read, write, communicate, and understand job duties and company policies.
• Completion of a 60-day introductory (probationary) period.
• Meet ergonomic and physical requirements and use of equipment.
• Ability to perform duties safely and adhere to company performance standards including regular attendance.
• Willingness to wear approved clothing and shoes for the job.
• Maintaining valid licenses, certificates, or permits as required for the position.

Responsibilities

• Review work schedule and required equipment at start of shift; comply with PPE and food-safety requirements.
• Follow directions from department leadership.
• Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, tools, equipment, display cases, floors, and counters.
