Job summary

The GIANT Company in Altoona, PA is seeking a team member to check inventory daily, remove out of date items, load pallets, stock and restock items, and maintain displays to ensure fresh products and appealing shelves for customers.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Able to read, write and understand in order to complete job duties and safety regulations.
• Must complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 60 days.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements for the position.
• Must be able to use or learn to use the equipment and tools for this job.
• Must meet the company performance standards including regular attendance.

Responsibilities

• Promptly, at the start of the shift, review the work schedule, check equipment and supplies required, comply with PPE requirements, comply with all food safety requirements, and prepare for duties.
• Follow directions and expectations of the department leadership.
• Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, all tools and equipment, all display cases, all floors, and all counters.
