Job summary

Baker Distributing Company is seeking a Warehouse Associate to manage inventory and daily transfer of HVAC freight in a fast-paced environment. The role focuses on procuring, picking, processing, and dispatching products to customers and vendors for a wholesale HVAC distributor carrying multiple brands of equipment, parts, and supplies.

Essential duties include order picking, quality inspections, loading/unloading, receiving, stocking merchandise, and preparing shipments.

Qualifications

• Prior warehouse experience preferred.
• Must understand and follow safety procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate warehouse equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Pick and verify orders for customers.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure accuracy of received, picked and shipped products.
• Daily loading and unloading of products for delivery to customers or other Sales Centers.
• Receive, inspect, and stock all merchandise.
• Prepare orders for shipment as needed.
