Job summary

Abacus Corporation is seeking an Inventory Specialist - Cycle Counter to maintain and reconcile inventory records, and implement loss prevention measures on site in the United States. The role focuses on accurate inventory counts, reporting, and improving procedures across the warehouse.

The ideal candidate has cycle counting experience, familiarity with WMS, and the ability to operate material handling equipment. This is a full-time, on-site position requiring U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of recent experience in cycle counting and inventory control.
• PC literate with experience in Microsoft Suites.
• WMS (Warehouse Management System) experience.
• Experience operating material handling equipment.
• Must be a U.S. citizen to work at this site.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory records and inventory management procedures.
• Reconcile inventory and coordinate inventory procedures.
• Work with management on implementing loss prevention programs and improving management of inventory.
• Implement recovery program to ensure all defective product is accounted for and handled properly.
• Help oversee the inventory quality and accuracy assurance programs, including weekly and monthly reports.
• Conduct system searches to locate products.
• Develop a program to audit returns and move returned product to its proper location.
• Process proper documentation to create a prompt credit transaction.
• Develop all necessary reports and documentation to facilitate accurate inventory counts.
