Job summary

ALCOM is hiring a Cycle Counter in Winslow, ME to maintain inventory accuracy through daily cycle counts and discrepancy resolution. You will monitor stock levels and assist with forklift tasks as needed in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in inventory control, familiarity with MRP systems, and strong math skills. This hands-on role offers growth opportunities and a collaborative team culture focused on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year in inventory control or cycle counting.
• MRP system experience preferred (but not required).
• Forklift certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies, implementing corrective actions.
• Monitor safety stock and material consumption using reporting tools.
• Recommend process improvements to boost efficiency in material handling and storage.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and production area.
• Assist with forklift operations or stockroom duties as needed.
