Job summary

ALCOM LLC in Winslow, Maine, is seeking an Inventory Control Technician to perform daily cycle counts and maintain accurate stock levels. The role involves investigating discrepancies, monitoring safety stock, and using reporting tools to drive improvements in material handling and storage.

You will support a team focused on efficiency, accuracy, and safety in a hands-on warehouse environment, with opportunities for forklift duties and growth within the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year in inventory control or cycle counting.
• MRP system experience preferred (but not required).
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies, implementing corrective actions to prevent future issues.
• Monitor safety stock and material consumption using reporting tools.
• Recommend process improvements to boost efficiency in material handling and storage.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and production area.
• Assist with forklift operations or stockroom duties as needed.

What You'll Do
