Job summary

Sid Wainer is seeking an inventory control specialist to maintain accurate records, manage cycle counts, and generate actionable reports. You will coordinate counts, verify labels and units, train staff, and ensure a safe, efficient warehouse environment at our New Bedford facility.

The role requires strong math and communication skills, experience with WMS, and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs. Forklift operations and compliance training are beneficial.

Qualifications

• Strong mathematical and analytical abilities.
• Good reading comprehension and written/verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Experience with data analysis and reporting is a plus.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and WMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records and cycle counts.
• Assist in perpetual inventory system development and implementation.
• Coordinate scheduled cycle counts and verify labeling and units of measure.
• Train staff on processes to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and maintain clean, organized workspace.
• Receive and verify deliveries against purchase orders; complete paperwork.
