Job summary

JBSS Inc. in Huntley, IL is seeking an Inventory Cycle Counter to ensure accurate and ongoing cycle counts and reconciliations. You will count locations, compare to perpetual on-hand quantities, and maintain precise inventories while operating a forklift safely.

The role supports FIFO adherence and may involve recommending process improvements. Required are 1+ year in a warehouse/inventory setting, forklift certification, and strong English communication skills; cherry picker/pallet rider

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience in general warehouse or inventory.
• Forklift certification required.
• Cherry picker and pallet rider certification preferred.
• Good verbal and writing communications skills.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Physically counts random locations and compares to perpetual on-hand quantities.
• Maintain accurate perpetual inventories by cycle counting random locations.
• Operate forklift in a safe manner to perform responsibilities.
• Assist to ensure FIFO system is maintained.
• Make recommendations to inventory control supervisor to improve accuracy and efficiency.
