Job summary

NFI in Manteno, Illinois is seeking a Cycle Counter to perform continuous cycle counts of inventory while on feet and to research discrepancies for timely resolution. The role requires following inventory procedures and maintaining data files.

The ideal candidate will have forklift experience, stand/walk for extended periods, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. A high school education or equivalent is required, with strong communication and numerical skills. Base pay is $22.75–$23.25 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required.
• Forklift experience required and ability to operate safely.
• Proficiency with MS Office and data entry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and mathematical abilities.
• Customer service orientation and ability to work independently.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical inventory count and compare results with system data.
• Research discrepancies between physical and system counts.
• Communicate cycle count findings to inventory personnel.
• Follow cycle counting procedures and guidelines.
• Maintain inventory count records and data files.
• Investigate causes of discrepancies.
• Other duties as assigned.
