Job summary

Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD) is seeking a distribution associate to support inventory accuracy at the Covington, GA Global Dist Center. You will perform cycle counts, resolve discrepancies, and ensure documentation aligns with quality procedures.

The role requires 1+ year of relevant experience, basic analytical skills, and the ability to operate MHE and voice/RF scanning systems. On-site presence is emphasized, with emphasis on collaboration and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or preferred.
• 1+ years of relevant experience required.
• Experience with MHE is preferred.
• Ability to obtain equipment certifications.

Responsibilities

• Cycle count bulk and pick aisles to assist with KDG objectives.
• Research and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner to support operations.
• Maintain the integrity of the inventory accounting system and ensure accuracy of all paperwork related to the inventory flow.
• Verify proper item/lot/quantity counts, as necessary.
• Ensures all distribution related documentation is maintained in an orderly and accessible manner per our quality procedures.
• Participate in receipt audits/reconciliations.
• Become knowledgeable of the responsibilities of the other positions to assist in times of urgency, breaks, absences, or vacation.
