Job summary

Sysco Connecticut operations are hiring for a cycle count and inventory control role. You will perform regular warehouse counts, verify item quantities, and help ensure accuracy across inventory records.

You’ll also assist in quality checks, product recalls, and will-call coordination on Saturdays when scheduled. Responsibilities include analyzing variances, maintaining documentation, and supporting the recall process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in warehouse or inventory roles preferred.
• Ability to read, write and speak English; strong Math and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure integrity of physical count of in-house inventory via cycle counting.
• Cycle count warehouse at least four times per year.
• Perform quality checks on date sensitive, slow-moving, and obsolete items.
• Research causes of weight variances and handling issues.
• Coordinate product transfers from cooler to freezer as needed.
• Review management reports and investigate shrink causes.
• Coordinate will-call orders when scheduled.
