Job summary

Stryker is seeking an Associate Cycle Counter for the Portage, MI facility. This onsite role supports inventory control through regular cycle counts and discrepancy investigations, ensuring ERP records match physical stock. The technician will collaborate with Materials, Quality, and Assembly teams to drive accuracy and improvements.

The position runs Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm with overtime as needed. A high school diploma or GED is required, and experience in inventory or manufacturing is

Qualifications

• Inventory experience required.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform cycle counts and physical inventory counts across multiple plant areas to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies, conduct root cause analysis, and resolve variances between physical and system inventory.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP system and use system tools to research and track inventory issues.
• Compile and review purchase orders, inventory records, and related documentation to support inventory management.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, organization, and traceability of inventory throughout the facility.
• Assist with ECO part exchanges and ensure damaged or defective materials are handled according to procedures.
• Prepare inventory reports and provide updates on shortages, discrepancies, and investigations during Tier 1 meetings.
• Collaborate with Materials, Quality, Assembly, Fabrication, and other teams to support inventory accuracy and continuous improvement initiatives.
