Job summary

A leading automotive supplier is looking for a Cycle Counter to join their Spartanburg Plant team. The role involves performing physical counts, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring compliance with customer requirements. Candidates must possess a High School Diploma and demonstrate strong communication, computer and math skills. The position requires the ability to work independently and a good attendance record. Responsibilities

• Perform physical counts in all areas of plant and compare results with system data.
• Research discrepancies between physical count and system.
• Investigate Gains and Losses before adjustments are completed.
• Maintain cycle count sheets and records.
• Assist in preparation and execution of physical inventory processes.
• Coordinate and pack special orders/shipments and complete necessary paperwork.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements in shipment processes.
• Lead and follow ABC cycle counting process.

Skills

Good verbal and written communication skills

Ability to drive forklift (sit-down or stand-up)

Proficient computer and math skills (MS Office, Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.)

Ability to safely lift 30lbs without restrictions

Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time

Ability to work weekends/overtime or off-shift as needed

Ability to work independently

Excellent attendance record
