Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Manager 2 for the Baltimore Logistics Center (Curtis Bay, MD). You will lead inventory management and material control, drive cycle counting programs, and ensure MMAS compliance within a regulated warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years in warehouse ops, supply chain, logistics or inventory management.
• Experience leading teams in fast-paced warehouse environments and driving root-cause actions for discrepancies.
• Experience with inventory management in distribution environments.
• Familiarity with MMAS, internal controls, and audit readiness.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Costpoint, Oracle) to execute material/inventory transactions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for analytics and reporting.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance; U.S. Citizenship required.
• Experience applying DFARS or government audit expectations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team responsible for inventory management and material control in the Baltimore Logistics Center warehouse.
• Own the cycle counting program execution, planning, scheduling, and discrepancy reconciliation.
• Ensure adherence to MMAS standards, internal controls, and documented procedures.
• Monitor inventory accuracy, on-hand balances, and adjustments; drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Planning, Quality, and Finance to ensure material availability and compliant transactions.
• Develop and track KPIs for inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and transactional integrity; report status and drive improvements.
• Champion process standardization, documentation, and training across the team.
• Support internal and external audits with objective MMAS evidence.
