Job summary

Discover Staffing is seeking a Customer Service & Inventory Planning Coordinator to manage daily customer service operations and inventory planning. The role supports sales/operations with stocking level analysis, PO generation, and accurate inventory management.

You will liaison between customers, suppliers, freight carriers, and warehouse staff to ensure timely shipments and high customer satisfaction, with backup support to Warehouse Lead as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in customer service, warehouse operations, inventory control, or logistics coordination.
• Familiarity with inventory systems or ERP software.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Intermediate mathematical problem solving.
• Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks and projects.
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for customers regarding order processing, product availability, shipping details, and delivery timelines.
• Manage complete order process from quotation to final invoicing in a timely manner.
• Coordinate and perform monthly physical inventory counts to ensure accuracy.
• Track and report inventory variances and work with warehouse lead to resolve issues.
• Prepare international shipping documentation including commercial invoices and bills of lading.
