Job summary

ASRC Federal Advanced Research in Sterling Heights, MI is seeking an Inventory Coordinator to manage the end-to-end lifecycle of government assets and support autonomy vehicle integrations. This role focuses on asset tracking, compliance with FAR/DFAR, and efficient logistics to support military ground vehicle programs.

The position requires a high school diploma, 3+ years of related experience, and ability to obtain a Government Secret Clearance. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Government Secret Clearance.
• Minimum of 3 years’ related experience.
• Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds occasionaly.
• Ability to use material handling equipment.
• Willingness to travel CONUS and OCONUS 25% annually.

Responsibilities

• Administer end-to-end lifecycle of government assets: acquisition, receipt, tagging, inventory, transfer and disposal.
• Investigate and report Loss, Damage, Destruction, or Theft (LDDT) of property and implement safeguards.
• Conduct periodic physical inventories and reconcile discrepancies in property systems.
• Ensure compliance with FAR 52.245-1 and DFAR in property management.
• Provide status and task management reports for assigned area.
• Manage inbound and outbound shipments cost-effectively.
• Reference DOT hours-of-service regulations in logistics workflows.
• Coordinate load utilization and carrier activities for customers.
• Maintain delivery time windows and customer data in systems.
• Coordinate distribution points for incoming/outgoing material and communications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel.
