Job summary

Arrowhead Travel Plaza in Pendleton, OR is seeking an Inventory Clerk to maintain accurate stock levels and pricing while delivering friendly customer service.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in inventory control or maintaining a price book in retail or related field
• Six months of customer service experience
• High School Diploma or GED or 10 years of experience
• Computer literate with Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Hands-on experience with point-of-sale systems, margin analysis, price book, and/or inventory systems
• Excellent organizational skills and effective communication abilities
• Stand/sit for long periods and perform repetitive motions
• Ability to bend, lift, and maneuver items up to 50 lbs
• Flexible schedule including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record in last five years per insurance requirements
• Criminal background check clearance required; must be at least 18 years old

Responsibilities

• Ensures customer satisfaction through prompt, efficient, and quality service
• Sets up and maintains inventory and invoiced items in POS and inventory tracking system
• Communicates with suppliers/vendors regarding cost negotiation and product details
• Enters information into inventory system and generates variance reports
• Reconciles invoices to reflect cost of sales, margins, promotions
• Monitors par levels, price points, and promotions
• Generates reports related to merchandise management
• Assists with physical inventory counts
• Performs duties in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements
• Maintains a safe, clean work environment and collaborates with team
