Job summary

Kitchen Tune-Up Main Line, PA is hiring an Inventory Specialist to oversee warehouse operations, track materials, and support field crews across remodeling projects. The role emphasizes accurate inventory management, timely shipping/receiving, and proactive coordination with project teams.

The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and capable of traveling between multiple job sites as needed. Experience in warehouse or construction trades is preferred, and basic software skills are required.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in warehouse, inventory, shipping/receiving, or construction trades preferred.
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications and ability to learn inventory software.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate standard warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, etc.).
  • Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation to travel between multiple job sites.

Responsibilities

  • Inventory & Small Warehouse Management: maintain accurate records of inventory, perform cycle counts, keep warehouse organized and compliant, oversee staging of orders.
  • Shipping & Receiving: inspect and log deliveries, prepare outgoing inventory, coordinate with vendors on deliveries and returns.
  • Inventory Coordination: track purchase orders, organize materials by job, manage returns and restocks, forecast material needs with office team.
  • Field Support: deliver materials/tools to job sites, provide on-site support for urgent needs, coordinate with project managers and field supervisors for availability.
  • Operational Support: maintain inventory control systems, data entry and reports, assist with equipment inspections and special projects.

About the Role

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to join our team. This role is central to ensuring smooth warehouse operations, accurate inventory management, and timely support of our field teams on remodeling and warranty service projects. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and reliable, with the ability to coordinate logistics and travel between multiple project sites as needed.

Key Responsibilities
Inventory & Small Warehouse Management

Maintain accurate records of all inventory (materials, tools, supplies).

Perform regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.

Ensure the warehouse is organized, safe, and compliant with company standards.

Oversee staging of orders for upcoming jobs and warranty service work.

Create efficient processes for inventory management to ensure fluid and smooth processes are in place for inventory needs.

Shipping & Receiving

Receive, inspect, and log all deliveries.

Prepare outgoing inventory, ensuring packaging, labeling, and documentation are correct by project.

Communicate with vendors regarding delivery schedules, damages, or shortages, and returns done in a timely manner to ensure company credit.

Inventory Coordination

Track and confirm purchase orders against received goods.

Organize materials by job/project for easy pickup by field crews.

Manage returns, restocks, and defective item processes.

Coordinate with the office team to forecast material needs.

Field Support

Deliver materials, tools, or parts to job sites in support of field crews and warranty/handyman work.

Provide on-site support for urgent project needs.

Communicate with project managers and field supervisors to ensure materials are ready and available.

Operational Support

Maintain inventory control systems and generate reports as needed. Data entry kept up to date and managed properly in software and or tracking systems.

Assist with equipment and vehicle inspections, ensuring readiness for field use.

Support special projects or urgent tasks as directed by management.

Requirements
  • Previous experience in warehouse, inventory, shipping/receiving, or construction trades preferred.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications and ability to learn inventory software.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate standard warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, etc.).
  • Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation to travel between multiple job sites.
  • Strong communication skills; ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Knowledge of kitchen/bath remodeling materials a plus.
