Job summary

The Cannabist Company is seeking an Inventory Coordinator to oversee inventory counts and tagging across the facility. Responsibilities include stocking and replenishment, creating all tags and paperwork, and ensuring compliance with state regulations.

Pay is $18/hr with full-time benefits. Reports to Facilities Manager/Manager, Inventory Management; role involves physical tasks and ongoing training opportunities within a leading multi-state cannabis provider.

Qualifications

• 1+ years' experience in inventory management or related field.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
• 1+ years' experience in METRC a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory recording, compliance, and accuracy across the facility.
• Label and tag inventory in accordance with state regulations.
• Create box tags as required for varied items.
• Process and monitor wholesale products and transactions.
• Ensure inventory records are always accurate.
• Perform cycle counts daily or weekly.
• Follow audit programs and physical inventory to ensure record integrity.
• Log receipts and documentation for accurate accounts.

Job description

• The Inventory Coordinator at The Cannabist Company is responsible for overseeing accurate inventory counts, labeling/tagging products per state regulations, processing wholesale transactions, and maintaining compliance throughout the facility.
• Candidates must be at least 21 years old with 1+ years in inventory management, strong computer skills (including Excel), attention to detail, and experience in auditing within a manufacturing environment; METRC experience is a plus.
• The role involves physical tasks such as prolonged standing, bending, lifting up to 30 pounds, and requires strong manual dexterity and visual acuity; reasonable accommodations can be made.

Position Overview:

The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the inventory count of all products throughout the facility. The Inventory Coordinator coordinates activities related to stocking and replenishing products, creating all tags/paperwork for all product, by performing the duties outlined below.

Major Areas of Responsibility

• Inventory recording, compliance, and accuracy in all phases of the production throughout the facility.
• Labeling and tagging inventory with attention to state regulations.
• Create individual box tags as required - various specifications based on item.
• Process and monitor wholesale products and transactions.
• Ensure inventory records are always accurate.
• Perform cycle counts daily or weekly as needed.
• Follow written audit programs and physical inventory to ensure integrity of company records.
• Log receipts and documentation to ensure accurate inventory accounts.

Minimum Qualifications (Skills, Knowledge & Abilities)

• All applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• 1+ years' experience in inventory management or related field.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
• 1+ years' experience in METRC a plus.
• Able to master new software applications quickly.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent math and accounting skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Experienced in auditing processes within a manufacturing environment.

Additional Abilities Required

• The job requires physical activity, including prolonged standing, repetitive bending, climbing, and lifting or moving up to 30 pounds (or more with a coworker). Good visual acuity, hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and ability to perform repetitivemotions with accuracy are required. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
