What You Will Do

Reporting to the Senior Engineering Operations Manager and the Engineering Operations Manager, the initial focus for the Inventory Coordinator will be to review production/engineering needs and ensure materials and spare parts are available to meet engineering requirements, supporting customer satisfaction. The role is based at the Customer Fulfillment Center, working closely with the engineering team to optimize spare parts and materials availability for maximum facility performance.

The Inventory Coordinator Role Includes

• Maintain an efficient, safe, and tidy stores room
• Keep accurate stock control and purchase order records
• Provide spare parts to maintenance teams promptly
• Manage interfaces between supply base, suppliers, and onsite engineering
• Ensure sufficient spare parts for scheduled maintenance and repairs
• Monitor stock levels and reorder as needed
• Analyze data and support the engineering team administratively
• Develop logistics plans to promote low cost and high inventory turnover
• Report on usage and goals to management
• Bid on architectural plans and obtain quality work at competitive prices
• Research and appoint regional contractors and suppliers
• Develop procurement plans to meet financial targets
• Monitor supplier performance and capabilities
• Propose process improvements to strengthen supplier relationships and reduce costs
• Review invoices and reconcile payments

The role may include other tasks as deemed necessary by management. The responsibilities listed are typical but not exhaustive and may evolve over time.

Who You Are

To qualify, you should have:

• At least 1 year of experience in purchasing, procurement, or sourcing
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to meet targets in a demanding environment
• Clear communication skills with internal teams and suppliers
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and CMMS
• Attention to detail, analytical skills, organized, and independent
• Administrative and clerical proficiency
• Ability to thrive in a fast-growing, ambiguous environment

Physical Activities

• Use of ladders and stairs
• Moving between worksites, often in confined spaces
• Standing or sitting for extended periods
• Handling objects up to 30 pounds, with some tasks involving objects over 100 pounds
• Communicating effectively with others

Environmental Conditions
