Job summary

Justice Cannabis is seeking an Inventory Coordinator to compile and maintain records of stock, perform counts, and ensure accurate inventory records in a fast-paced retail environment. The role emphasizes accuracy, compliance, and collaboration with team members to support daily operations.

Preferred candidates have two or more years in retail or hospitality with cash handling duties, excellent communication skills, and a strong attention to detail.

Description The Inventory Coordinator will compile and maintain records of quantity, type, and value of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies stocked in establishment by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

What You'll Do
  • Counts material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and posts totals to inventory records
  • Compares inventories to office records or computes figures from records such as sales orders, production records, or purchase invoices to obtain current inventory
  • Verifies clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjusts errors in computation or count, or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies
  • Compiles information on receipt or disbursement of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies, and computes inventory balance, price, and cost.
  • Prepares reports such as inventory balance, price lists, and shortages.
  • Prepares list of depleted items and recommends survey of defective or unusable items.
  • Stocks and issues materials or merchandise.
  • Analytical - Synthesizes complex or diverse information; Collects and researches data; Uses intuition and experience to complement data; Designs workflows and procedures.

Education and Experience
  • Two or more years of experience working in a retail or hospitality environment with cash handling responsibility
  • Demonstrated passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience
  • Fast-paced, high volume retail sales experience preferred
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license or state ID
  • Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must have strong organizational skills, high attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
  • Experience in medical cannabis industry is desirable, but not required.
  • Ability to take direction and complete daily tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Conduct oneself in a professional manner.
  • Communicate fluently in English (verbal and written).
  • Ability to maintain product accurately and efficiently.
  • Ability to communicate with other staff and associates in all situations
  • Ability to perceive and meet the needs of team members and management.
  • Punctual, professional, and able to communicate clearly with your managers and other staff.
  • Knowledgeable on strains, genetics, and cultivation practices.
  • High level of efficiency, patience, and flexibility.
  • Must meet and clear the state affiliation process.
