Job Summary

The Inventory Lead supports the Inventory Manager/Supervisor and dispensary staff by supervising and maintaining accurate inventory control measures. They provide leadership, guidance, and support to team members, fostering a positive environment. The Inventory Lead cross checks physical quantities with system quantities and applies inventory control practices that ensure alignment.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support retail operations by maintaining inventory accuracy: manage stock levels, variances, storage, menu updates, and consumption.
  • Perform inventory counts, weekly audits, and necessary adjustments to support the retail business.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work environment, ensuring all inventory is stored securely.
  • Participate in the flow of physical stock for order processing.
  • Report any irregularities to the Inventory Supervisor/Manager.
  • Complete checks to keep all menus, digital and physical, up to date and accurate.
  • Provide regular reporting required by internal operations and state regulations.
  • Ensure product is stocked on the sales floor and ready for purchase.
  • Communicate variance issues or missing information preventing proper inventory ordering.
  • Hold team to a high standard, ensuring fluid and consistent communication with praise and feedback.
  • Maintain appearance of the store; keep restrooms, etc., consistently clean, safe, and guest‑ready.
Qualifications
  • Must understand and adhere to all state cannabis agency policies and regulations.
  • Must meet age and background check requirements set by state cannabis agency.
  • Must accommodate varied scheduling including weekends and holidays.
  • Maintain regular, punctual attendance.
Education

High school diploma or GED required.

Experience

1–3 years of experience in inventory, logistics, or cannabis retail setting.

Working Conditions

Physical Requirements
  • Use a computer for extended periods; operate POS and other office equipment.
  • Move about office and retail environment.
  • Transport dispensary products/totes up to 30 lbs across the dispensary.
  • Twist, turn, bend, stand and walk as required.
