Job summary

Wismettac Asian Foods Inc. is seeking an Inventory Controller I to support the warehouse by maintaining accurate inventory levels and providing reports. You will assist the Logistics Manager with records, discrepancies, and regular updates to the inventory system.

Responsibilities include overseeing RMA processes, maintaining stock integrity, and performing cycle counts. The role requires effective communication, training of associates, and occasional extended hours or OT.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of inventory control experience.
• Forklift training or certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory control for the Branch office and manage RMA processes.
• Maintain FIFO/FEFO rotation and stock integrity.
• Conduct cycle counts to ensure accuracy and timely execution.
• Update the warehouse management system for all transactions.
• Investigate inventory variances and propose corrective actions.
• Train associates in inventory control procedures.
• Assist in verification of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Provide fill-in support for other warehouse departments.
• Maintain daily inventory records and storage readiness.
• Work extended hours as needed, including OT.
