Job summary

Staples, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support our Putnam, CT operations. You may work in Inventory Control or Warehouse Clerk, moving products with material handling equipment and upholding safety procedures.

You will review inventory, resolve discrepancies, and communicate with teammates to ensure accurate orders and timely deliveries. Flexibility to operate in multiple roles and shifts is valued in our fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass a drug screen.
• Ability to lift 70–100 pounds by hand.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to work at heights up to 60 feet or more.
• Must wear safety footwear.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Good basic English speakers and writers.

Responsibilities

• Review inventory, reconcile discrepancies and maintain records.
• Operate forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, or electric pallet jacks per safety rules.
• Confirm product accuracy and address discrepancies with colleagues.
• Communicate with internal/external contacts to resolve issues.
• Support potential role changes across SC1/SC2/SC3 as needed.
