Job summary

Jabil seeks an Inventory Control Trainer to conduct and monitor training programs for Inventory Control processes in the Byhalia, Mississippi area. The role involves organizing on‑the‑job training, certifying and recertifying positions, and maintaining detailed training records.

You will identify training gaps, participate in course enhancements, and develop plans to meet department goals. The position requires strong instructional ability and familiarity with standard inventory control

Qualifications

Ability to present information to managers, clients, and the public.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Proficiency with Windows OS and related software.
Ability to write simple correspondence and understand visual aids.
Ability to follow simple instructions and handle standardized situations.

Responsibilities

Organizes, schedules and conducts on the job training, certifies and recertifies inventory control positions.
Produces and maintains training records.
Identifies voids in training and assists in course enhancements.
Develops training plans to achieve goals for Inventory Control.
Delivers training to new hires in inventory control.
Maintains training matrix, records and badges.
Reviews process instructions for improvements and changes.
Evaluates training effectiveness through samples and tests.
Monitors training effectiveness via evaluation techniques.
May perform other duties as assigned.
