Job summary

Pentagon Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Control Technician to record and maintain inventory using FileMaker & Axapta. You will verify incoming materials, manage stock levels, and support Buyers with material planning.

The role includes picking, packing, shipping, and internal deliveries across a chemical processing plant environment. You must lift up to 35 lbs, perform cycle counts, and ensure accurate paperwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree preferred.
• 2-3 years of hands-on inventory control experience.
• Experience with computerized inventory MRP systems.
• Basic knowledge of inventory control and parts management.
• Proficient with MS Office; strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and work in a warehouse/plant environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions.
• Review packing slips and verify incoming quantities and quality.
• Oversee material receiving, storage, and internal delivery to workstations.
• Perform cycle counts and physical inventory validation as required.
• Generate purchase orders for subcontractor services and track delivery schedules.
• Operate forklift for inventory and shipping needs; prepare packing labels.
