Job summary

Huntington Ingalls Industries, Mission Technologies Division, seeks an Inventory/Stock Technician to oversee material stock at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. You will compile records, place material orders, and work with engineers to ensure correct items are stocked and documented.

The role requires occasional travel (CONUS), ability to lift 50 lbs, and working outdoors. Levels define responsibilities and salary bands; security clearance to obtain TS/SCI and Secret is required.

Qualifications

• Requires willingness to travel up to 25% (CONUS/OCONUS) and deployment durations of 2–3 weeks.
• Proficient with Office tools and inventory software; ability to learn TCMax.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work outside in variable weather.

Responsibilities

• Maintain records of stock quantity, cost, and type.
• Order new material to maintain stock levels.
• Coordinate with engineers/technicians to identify materials to order.
• Maintain inventory database and quarterly reports.
