Job summary

Micro Center is seeking a Retail Inventory Control Supervisor to manage store-level inventory policies, freight flow, and asset tracking. The role includes coordinating with distribution and vendors, and leading warehouse staff to ensure accurate cycles and web pickup processes.

The position requires a high school diploma and 2+ years in a retail warehouse setting with experience in inventory control, loss prevention, and merchandising. Flexible shifts and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years in a retail warehouse environment.
• Experience in inventory control, loss prevention and merchandising.

Responsibilities

• Ensure inventory policies and procedures are carried out at store level and meet customer satisfaction standards.
• Oversee all store freight flow and track company assets via inventory control and loss prevention best practices.
• Process all incoming and outgoing merchandise from Distribution Center and third party vendors.
• Coordinate warehouse activities to meet business needs.
• Participate in warehouse orientation and training; communicate issues to management.
• Execute the 18-minute Web Pick-Up processes or delegate tasks to staff.
• Perform cycle counts, SUM logs, and employee purchases.
• Review inventory control reports and follow up with management as needed.
• Work with Loss Prevention and store management to reduce shrink and assist with loss prevention.
• Coordinate and participate in physical inventory and open/close procedures.
• Collaborate with Regional HR Manager on HR issues per guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
