Job summary

McLane Company, Inc is seeking an Inventory Control Supervisor to oversee accurate inventory reporting and coordinate with Logistics, Supply Chain Services and Shipping to meet service and profit goals. You will supervise inventory control personnel, plan cycle counts, reconcile variances and drive accuracy across the warehouse.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• AS/400 experience preferred.
• Experience in a progressively responsible food service distribution role with supervisory responsibilities.
• Working knowledge of purchasing, customer service, accounting, warehousing, and transportation.

Responsibilities

• Establish and implement accurate inventory reporting.
• Collaborate with Logistics, Supply Chain Services, and Shipping to meet service and profit goals.
• Plan physical inventories; reconcile variances and provide reports.
• Conduct daily inventory analysis of warehouse reports to resolve issues.
• Ensure proper warehouse slotting to support shipping and order fulfillment.
• Enforce policies to minimize inventory shrink and risk; manage damages, exceptions, and transfers.
• Supervise inventory control staff.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
