Job summary

McLane Global Logistics is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to manage inventory in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will perform cycle counts, maintain accurate records, and support management with planning and reconciliation tasks while ensuring safety and policy compliance.

Proficiency in D365, Excel and Word is required, and forklift/cherry-picking experience is preferred. This role involves physical tasks and daily counts to support efficient, accurate inventory control across

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory control or warehouse operations.
• Proficient with Excel/Word/Outlook and basic data entry.

Responsibilities

• Assist in production control, inventory management, scheduling and material planning.
• Keep accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment.
• Supervise inventory processes and ensure records accuracy; train team members as needed.
• Conduct daily cycle counts and data entry for counts, movements and adjustments.
• Perform system and document audits; track inventory issues and trends for improvements.
• Assist with external audits and resolve variances; respond to item checks from buyers.
