Job summary

Westlake Chemical seeks a Supervisor – Inventory Control to lead inventory management, receiving, production planning and scheduling across Marion, Bristol, and Westfield operations. The role drives accuracy and throughput in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of inventory control experience, with strong analytical and communication skills. JD Edwards and advanced Excel are preferred; salary ranges from $85,000 to $110,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 3–5 years of direct inventory management and planning experience in manufacturing.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead through influence across departments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise inventory control clerks, supply room personnel, and return goods coordinators.
• Develop and implement inventory control procedures to improve workflow, accuracy, performance and compliance.
• Lead multi-site inventory management for raw materials, finished goods and consignment locations.
• Oversee cycle counting, month-end and year-end inventory and related control processes.
• Support production scheduling and line configuration to maximize throughput and meet requirements.
• Develop annual SKU forecasts and manage JD Edwards data.
• Maintain Product Data Management processes and JDE catalog items across plants.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve inventory and scheduling issues.
• Provide coaching and drive accountability and continuous improvement.
