Job summary

Westlake Royal Building Products is seeking a Supervisor – Inventory Control to lead inventory management, receiving, production planning and scheduling, and Product Data Management across Marion, Bristol, and Westfield operations.

The role requires six years of inventory management experience in manufacturing, strong analytical ability, and leadership through influence. Proficient in Excel and ERP systems with a focus on accuracy and improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
• Six years of direct inventory management and planning experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn concepts into actionable plans.
• Proven ability to lead through influence across departments and levels of the organization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Experience with JD Edwards or similar database/ERP systems.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Supervise inventory control clerks, supply room personnel, and return goods coordinators.
• Develop and implement inventory control procedures to improve workflow, accuracy, performance, and compliance with company policies.
• Lead multi-site inventory management for raw materials, finished goods, and consignment locations.
• Oversee cycle counting, month-end inventory, year-end inventory, and related control processes.
• Support production scheduling and line configuration to maximize throughput, reduce downtime, and meet customer and inventory requirements.
• Develop annual SKU forecasts and manage related information in JD Edwards.
• Maintain Product Data Management processes, including creation and maintenance of JDE catalog items across branch plants.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve inventory, planning, scheduling, and operational issues.
• Provide coaching, direction, and support to team members to drive accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
